Exercise Even When You Don’t Feel Like It
Well tonight I got a 2 mile walk in down at beautiful Chambers Bay. Since this is right next to the water it was actually pretty cold and windy. I did not feel like doing it! It was a grind just to complete it but after I was done I felt a great amount of satisfaction. The satisfaction of knowing that I did what I was suppose to do, I made a good choice.
I’ve been on this journey since January and honestly off and on before that. My point is that there
has been a lot of ups and downs, lots of frustration because progress at times has been slow. In the past I’ve quit, just said F**** it and went back to not caring. We all feel that way a lot I suppose especially if you are trying to do something worthwhile. It’s easy to quit, skip the gym, put it off but at some point you just make a decision.
You decide enough is enough and you begin to move forward. Today’s walk was very productive, not only did I get my exercise in but I enjoyed listening to a great message from Les Brown.
I encourage you to figure out how to carve out time for exercise. Start small, but don’t quit it will pay off in the end.
