Fasting Update! The 4 Day Fasting Experiment is Over

This morning at 7:00 A.M. I officially ended my attempt at a 4 day extended fast, I didn’t make it to 4 days.  I was a bit bummed to stop but felt as though it was the best thing for my body.   I did this with my best bud and fiance Sarah and we made it for 3 days, and we are still proud of doing that, especially since we are still new to this.

Everything that Sarah and I read about fasting clearly tells us that if you don’t feel right while fasting you should stop the fast. I wanted to try to push through but clearly knew it was time stop, when I sat on my couch this morning and was experiencing a lot of “brain fog.”  For some reason this time was harder than the first 3 day fast that we did back in May.

We are using Fasting as part of our weight loss tool kit, and it also has lots of other health benefits.  Fasting isn’t new, or trending its been practiced  and around for centuries.
