Fasting Update! Day 2 – This Day Has Been A Challenge

So Day 2 of our 4 day extended fast is pretty much done.  I have consumed some bone broth, and a cup of bullet proof coffee (coffee, butter and MCT oil) today, and yesterday.   So everything I’ve read and Podcast I’ve listened too they always say “day 2 is the worst.”  During my previous 3 day fast, I had a slight issue which was handled with some salt and water.  

Today however was a bit different.  I really experienced being tired, and a bit of brain fog.  It was tough sitting in a meeting at work and having to actually type on a keyboard as we edited some documents.  I really had to concentrate and pay attention.

Have I Been Hungry?

Not really!  I was a bit hungry last night, I got up for a bathroom visit, drank some water and was good to go.  Tonight I had to cook dinner for my daughter, and you would think that would really be hard but it really wasn’t and issue.  My biggest temptation was to make sure that i didnt lick my fingers or a spoon.  I also noticed today that I was a bit “grumpy.”  But I caught myself and reined that feeling in. 

How do I feel physically?

Besides being tired, not that bad.  Anyway tomorrow is Day 3, if I experience any physical issues tomorrow I may end the fast.  If I do it will still be a success in my mind.
