Some Useful Tips and Tools

So I’ll get right to it today.  On my journey to lose 100 pounds, I’ve been using the MyFitnessPal app for iPhone, but the app is also available for Android devices as well.

If you don’t know what this app is for I’ll give you a brief summary.  Essentially its a large food database which allows users to track there calories, nutritional values, weight, and exercise on a daily basis. When you set the app up it really will help you establish a weight loss plan based on information you enter, and how long you want to take to lose the weight. I’ve found this to be a valuable tool and best of all its “FREE!”  Although there is now a premium version to runs you about $50.00 per year, this version is highly customizable and I’ve seriously thought about investing in a premium plan –  but you can still have success with the free version.

I also like MyFitnessPal because it also syncs with a lot of fitness devices like the Fitbits, our UP Bands.  I highly recommend you check out MyFitnessPal in the the App Store today!
